PES is a piping engineering and design consultancy based in the North West of England. We specialise in the engineering and design of piping pressure systems including associated structural steelwork to all recognised codes. We are ideally placed to support the regions engineering contractors and clients with the provision of a complete single piping engineering and design source to cater for their Piping projects or one off fabrication requirements, acting as either lead designer or as complementary specialists to existing design teams.

PES is lead by an experienced chartered engineer with over 18 years’ experience of leading and delivering piping projects for some of the world’s largest oil and gas organizations. This experience is supplemented by piping design and engineering specialists who can implement industry best practice to deliver projects to tight deadlines and modest budgets.

It is our policy at PES to be proud to meet our client requirements and enhance their satisfaction with our services and products by operating all of our processes under controlled conditions.

This policy is deployed through our management system that has been established, documented, implemented and accredited by UKAS auditiors to fully conform to ISO 9001:2008; and any customer-specific, applicable law, and regulatory requirements as they apply to our services and products.

Our office facilities are fully equipped and project ready with chartered, qualified and experienced mechanical engineers, designers and draughtsmen. From our fully equipped design office we implement the latest CAD and engineering technologies to meet the project objectives and we are experienced users of AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Finglow, NozzlePRO and Caesar II.

Our office facilities include the provision of desk space, IT equipment, software and licensing, data management, document control, monitored CCTV security, communications, car parking and meeting room facilities and we are ready to accept a variety of project sizes from a few manhours to larger project requirements.

These facilities ensure that we can readily respond to ad-hoc requests for our services and by engaging our specialist services on an as needed basis we can deliver cost reductions to the project that cannot be met by traditional resourcing methods.

ISO 9001:2015

PES are pleased to announce the recent transition of our ISO 9001 to the 2015 standard. Audits are periodically undertaken by our UKAS auditors to ensure our compliance to ISO 9001:2015 is maintained throughout the three year certification cycle.

Latest version of Caesar II 2017

We are pleased to announce an extension of our Pipe Stress Analysis services to now include for analysis using the latest version of Caesar II 2017. The technical additions within the latest version of this software now provides us with an ability to evaluate creep conditions for all piping codes using EN-13480 guidelines and we are delighted to offer the highest quality tools to improve upon our project delivery workflows and extended our scope of services.
